Skráseting Føroya maintains the Faroe Islands company register. The authority lists limited companies, branches, commercial foundations, certain corporate entities, insurers and savings banks. TAKS’s tax business register, Vinnuskráin, is a separate service and includes sole proprietorships. [2] [6]

Search for the entity
Open Search Companies. Enter the name or known registration number. Leave the dates blank initially unless you are seeking a particular notice. [1] [4]
Read repeated results correctly
Compare Reg.no. and name. Date relates to the displayed registry event. Several rows can concern one company; do not treat them as separate entities. [4]
Open the company name
Click the company name to open its Tekningarútskrift. Check the document’s issue date separately from the date in the search results. [4]
Download the original PDF
Select “Tak niður”. The file contains registry particulars in Faroese. If you need an expressly certified version, contact the Registry with the registration number and document type and use the separate tariff. [4] [5]

Other certified documents
