Search step by step
Identify a company free of charge
Open the basic profile
Choose “Open data” and “Basic profile of a registered entity”. Search using the company name or its registration number. [1]
Use the appropriate spelling
The name-search instructions require 4 to 20 characters. Replace spaces with %. All names are recorded in Cyrillic; Latin versions are only available for some entities. An unsuccessful Latin search is therefore not reliable evidence that the company is absent. [1]
Match the entity
Open its name and compare the registration number and address. The profile also displays legal form and status, main activity and size category. [1]
Order the current certificate or history
Choose the document
Under “Business data and registration certificates”, select “Registration certificate” for current information or “Historical record of legal entity amendments” for earlier changes. Then choose “via Distribution System”. [2] [9]
Use an ordinary account
“Regular User” is the route described for individual purchases. Log in through SSO or open “Sign up”. Professional access instead requires an agreement for the Distribution System. [2] [6]
Pay and retain the file

Choose the financial product
“Listing from a processed Annual Account” summarises the balance sheet and profit and loss account for two years. Electronic access costs MKD 840. The English version with cash flows costs MKD 1,260 and its product page describes an office-based procedure. [4] [5]
Choose the ownership product separately
“Current Status of the Beneficial Owners for an entity” identifies the beneficial owners registered against a particular entity. The FAQ does not require you to be its owner or manager. The paper version costs MKD 299. [7] [8]

Entities covered
The registers cover several corporate forms, including limited liability and joint-stock companies. They also cover sole traders and foreign branches. The Registry of Other Legal Entities includes associations and foundations. [2]
Some professions have their own originating registers, including lawyers and notaries. Their registration decisions are transmitted to the Central Registry. [2]
Current data, history and filed documents
“Registration certificate” is the product containing currently valid register information. History records accepted changes to the company name and registered office. It also covers changes of authorised representatives and managers. The official description limits electronic history to entries from 1 January 2006. [2] [9]
“Scanned entries” provides copies of registration decisions and their enclosures. The Distribution System also describes these records using the 1 January 2006 cut-off. The product page explicitly states that not all record types are available electronically. [10] [11]
For a paper current certificate, the registry states one hour or the same day. The shorter period is expressly subject to feasibility. Collect the document from the office where the application was submitted. This product description does not include an apostille or translation. [3]
Access from abroad
Basic searches need no account. The English registration form includes “GERMANY” in its country list. It asks for an identification number and contact information. Password and security-question fields accompany a CAPTCHA. Help requires valid personal information but gives no specific format for a German passport or identity-card number. [1] [6]
Help describes access to information services after creating an account. It separately requires a qualified digital signature for electronic services that submit registrations. Do not apply that filing requirement to all purchases of registry information. The beneficial-ownership product’s account instructions expressly exclude attaching a certificate. [6] [7]
The account guide states that you receive an email with a username and PIN after registration. Additional applications may require separate access rights. The account form includes a country selector for foreign applicants. Confirm with the registry which foreign identity document it accepts for your access. [15] [6]
Annual-account data and the English report
Financial products use annual-account data submitted to and approved by the Central Registry. “Listing from a processed Annual Account” is a two-year summary. It should not be treated as a full corporate annual report with every supporting attachment. [12] [4]
The English product adds cash-flow information to the balance-sheet and income presentation. The FAQ limits English listings to entities outside the financial sector. The official sample uses “xxx” in the identity fields and illustrates its layout using 2016 and 2015 figures. Those dates belong to the example. [13] [4] [14]
Check beneficial ownership separately
Beneficial owners are the natural persons who ultimately own or control the entity. The relevant register stores entity information, personal beneficial-owner information and indicators used to determine ownership. Order the current certificate against the particular legal entity. [8]
The official FAQ permits requests by interested third parties without a registration agent. Its online instructions specify an ordinary account and card payment. The current electronic tariff dialogue provides no amount. The separate paper version lists MKD 299 and can be collected at the registry counter personally or through an appropriately authorised person. [7] [8]
Fees and order scope
