Choose the right register
Agencija za privredne registre (APR) is Serbia’s registration agency. Its Registar privrednih subjekata has centralised business registration since 2005. Registered information is available to interested users without proof of a legal interest. An official extract, an archive copy and a beneficial ownership disclosure are separate products. Search step by step
Identify a company and its financial reports
Start with an identifier
Open the public financial-report search. Select “Матични број” for the MB, “ПИБ” for the tax number or “Пословно име” for the business name. The form requires reCAPTCHA before searching. [6] [17]
Match the record and reporting period
Use the link to business-register information, check the business name and MB, and select the reporting year. APR describes links to filed applications, processing status and published reports. [6]
Choose the evidence you need
Order an Izvod for the current registered legal position. Request a precisely dated Potvrda for former representatives, members or capital. To read a filed document, obtain that document’s copy. [4] [1]
Request an official extract from abroad
Complete the form
Provide the MB, business name and number of copies. The form includes passport number and issuing country for foreign applicants. Select an offered delivery or collection option. [5]
Arrange delivery and payment
Postal delivery to the applicant requires an address in Serbia on the form. Alternatively, the applicant or an authorised person can collect the extract. Attach evidence of the RSD 2,500 payment using the reference generated by APR. [5] [4] [3]
Submit to APR
Post the request to APR, Brankova 25, 11000 Beograd, or submit it in person. The issue deadline is two working days. APR says in-person requests with valid payment evidence are commonly issued immediately. [4]
Order an older financial report
Check the free reporting years first
Start with the public financial search for the last three reporting years. For older records, open “APR: order financial reports” and create the email-and-password account described in the guide. The profile shows “Strani pravni subjekt” for foreign legal entities. [6] [9]
Select the entity, year and components
Identify the entity by name, MB or PIB. Open “Izveštaji i potvrde” and select the original financial report for the year required. The standard report excludes notes. Add “Napomene” if you need the notes, then select the available language and delivery options. [9] [8]
Check the total and invoice details
Provide invoicing details and the intended use. The guide offers card payment, bank transfer and NBS IPS QR payment. After electronic delivery, find the download under “Prethodne porudžbine” (previous orders). [9]

Entities and registered information
The central register covers companies, sole proprietors, cooperatives and cooperative unions. It also covers public enterprises and branches or representative offices of foreign companies. APR separates its website routes by organisational category. [1]
Registered information includes business name, registered office and legal form. The register also records formation and amendment dates, MB and PIB, principal activity and representation powers. Capital, members’ interests, formation instruments and articles provide additional detail. Member, founder and officer information depends on the organisational form. Liquidation, insolvency and other annotations may also appear. [1]
Access and electronic identity
Any interested person may request ordinary extracts and archive copies. The current extract form provides for foreign passport details but does not offer an expressly foreign delivery address. Arrange a Serbian receiving address or collection by an authorised person. [4] [5]
Paid financial-report ordering uses a separate APR account with email and password. The guide then shows mandatory user information and an option for foreign legal entities. It also requires invoicing details and the intended use of the reports. [9]
Searching CESV for company beneficial owners requires high-assurance eID, using a certificate or ConsentID. According to eID, a foreign password account without a Serbian foreigner registration number is limited to “Welcome to Serbia”. ConsentID needs activated credentials: online with a qualified certificate or following personal identification. For users outside Serbia, eID identifies a Serbian diplomatic or consular mission as a contact point. [10] [13] [14]
For the separate search of registered trusts, APR specifies an APR user account without an electronic signature. That exception does not apply to the company search described above. [10]
Annual accounts and older reports
APR publishes the last three reporting years free of charge. The public collection also includes incomplete or arithmetically incorrect filings and statements of inactivity. [6]
Older original financial reports can be ordered for the last 20 reporting years. A report without notes costs RSD 2,000. With a scanned auditor’s report, still excluding notes, it costs RSD 2,500. Individual components such as a balance sheet, income statement or notes cost RSD 800 each. Serbian and English are available. [7] [8]
Order online or using paper form FI-Zahtev 1. Delivery is electronic or, on request, on paper. APR lists email, collection and post. Same-day urgency costs an additional 50%; the request cut-off is 13:00 for email/collection and 10:00 for post. Invoicing and recorded payment determine release. [7] [9]
The ordering guide defines the listed base fees for electronic reports. Paper financial reports add 20%. The stated exception concerns other services with a specifically prescribed fee. Check the total in the order summary after selecting paper output and urgency. [9]
Legal ownership and beneficial ownership
Members and capital interests in the business register describe registered holdings. CESV separately records the natural person behind a chain of ownership. New documentation and regular verification rules apply from October 2025. After strong authentication, the CESV search uses the entity’s MB. [1] [10]
Electronic extracts for ordinary third parties conceal personal identifiers such as national identification number and passport number with issuing country. This does not mean that every name is removed. Unredacted electronic disclosures are reserved for specified registered participants. Other applicants need a written request explaining their justified interest. [11]
A current CESV extract costs RSD 2,500 electronically or on paper. A certificate costs RSD 1,500 per beneficial owner. APR says electronic documents can be downloaded immediately after card payment. An electronic person-based certificate showing where someone is or was a beneficial owner can only be requested by that person. [11] [12]
Archive access and fee scope
Inspection of paper originals and scans in APR’s archive is free. Copies cost RSD 50 per page. Requests identifying the business name, MB and desired document can also be sent to arhiv@apr.gov.rs. For records before 2005, APR directs users exclusively to the Rakovica archive at Oslobođenja 1b. [4]
The amounts are the fees published by APR, as of 15 September 2026. They describe the relevant register product. They do not promise a certified translation, apostille or international delivery. A formal transcript of a registrar’s decision is also restricted to the company’s representative or a person authorised by that representative. [3] [4] [5]

Avoid common mistakes
- A paid APR data package is a separate service from publication of the last three financial-reporting years. Start with the public financial search for those years. [6]
- An ordinary archive scan is a different product from a formal transcript of a registrar’s decision. The latter has narrower applicant rights. [4]
- APR prohibits unauthorised automated downloads. Use the browser or its official web services. [2] [16]
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to own a Serbian company?
Not for ordinary company extracts or archive copies. APR accepts requests from any interested person. Its extract form provides for foreign applicants but requires a Serbian address for postal delivery to them. [4] [5]
Is my email account enough for beneficial ownership searches?
Searching for company beneficial owners requires high-assurance eID in CESV. The separate financial-report ordering account and a basic eID password account do not replace that requirement. [10] [13] [9]
Does RSD 800 buy a complete company history?
No. It is the fee per individual historical or document-based fact. Specify which fact you need certified and the relevant date or period. [4]
