Choose the right register
EGRUL covers legal entities and EGRIP individual entrepreneurs. Both use the same search interface. Prefer the unique registration or taxpayer number. A group name can return subsidiaries, former entities and other businesses with similar names. [1] [2]

From search query to official PDF
Enter an identifier or name
Open egrul.nalog.ru. The Поисковый запрос field accepts INN, OGRN or OGRNIP, a legal entity name or an individual entrepreneur’s name. An exact-match option is available for names. [2]
Restrict the region only when needed
Use Выбрать регионы to restrict the search by region. Leave this unrestricted when the registered location is unknown. Select Найти. [2]
Compare the result’s identity
Compare the name and region with the OGRN, INN and KPP identifiers. Results also show the registration date. Representation details or a termination date may appear, depending on the entry. Use the identifiers and registered location to select the company. [2]
Request the extract and retain the original file
Select Получить выписку, meaning Get Extract, for the correct result. The service description specifies a PDF with a qualified electronic signature. You do not need your own signature certificate. Retain the original electronic file if you want to check the signature later. [2] [1]

Free electronic extracts and paid paper documents
Electronic extracts and electronic no-record certificates are free. The central FNS service page lists RUB 200 per paper extract, registry document copy or paper no-record certificate, within at most five days of receipt. Urgent issue costs RUB 400 per document and is due by the next working day following receipt. [1] [3]
Request a paper extract or file copies
A paper extract can be requested in person or by post from any tax office authorised to provide registry information. Include the full or abbreviated company name and OGRN or INN. Request copies of specific filings from the authorised office at the company’s location. Before ordering copies, you may request a free inventory of the documents held there to determine how many paid copies you need. [3]
Understand PDF signature messages
FNS warns that Adobe Reader can report an invalid signature when the necessary configuration is missing. Its help page links to instructions for GOST R 34.10-2012 signature verification. The authority describes the qualified-signed electronic extract as equivalent under Russian law to its signed and sealed paper version. [1]
Online access from overseas
