Choose the right register
ABIPCO covers ordinary private and public companies, alongside non-profit and external companies. Use the separate FSRC route for an IBC. The FSRC describes a Corporate Status Report available to any applicant. This is a different product from checking whether a name is available. [2] [4]

Search step by step
Choose the appropriate registry and document
Identify the company regime
Use ABIPCO for an ordinary company. If the records say International Business Corporation or IBC, direct the enquiry to the FSRC. [2] [4]
Start an ABIPCO check at Search the Register
The page describes a free Limited Internet Search and asks users to accept terms. It warns that the database is updated periodically and cannot replace an official file search. [1]
Request ordinary company files from ABIPCO
Contact abipco@ab.gov.ag with the company name, number and required document. The tariff lists XCD 40 for search, XCD 1 per copy page in addition to search, and XCD 40 for certification. Confirm the total and delivery method. [2] [3]
Request an IBC Corporate Status Report from FSRC
The FAQ makes this report available to anyone. Supply the company name and IBC number to info@fsrc.gov.ag. The schedule lists USD 150. For inspection of public IBC documents, the FAQ describes attendance during normal working hours for a prescribed fee. [4] [5]
Agree the output before payment
Sign in to the FSRC E-Registry with a username and password. You can also request a Corporate Status Report directly from FSRC. [6] [2] [4]

What the free lookup establishes
ABIPCO describes its Limited Internet Search as a preliminary check of whether a company, business name, charity or society may be registered. Updates are periodic rather than real-time. A paid search of the official records is the route to an authoritative registry response. [1]
IBC status report contents
The FSRC lists the incorporation date and IBC number, directors, registered office and resident agent. It also lists authorised capital and company status, including outstanding issues. This description does not promise a public ownership list or a complete set of accounts. [4]
Copying charges and currencies
The Companies (Amendment) Regulations 2020 list XCD 40 for an ordinary company search, XCD 1 per uncertified copy page in addition to search, and XCD 40 for certification. ABIPCO’s company page matches these three fees. Its unspecified-certificate entries conflict; the regulations give XCD 50. Confirm special products directly. The separate FSRC IBC schedule is denominated in USD. [3] [2] [5]
Remote requests and payment
The FSRC says anyone may request a Corporate Status Report, rather than limiting it to directors or shareholders. E-Registry access and actual overseas delivery require separate confirmation. [4] [6] [2]
