Choose the right register
The State Register of Legal Entities is part of the Ministry of Justice. Its stated remit covers legal entities, individual entrepreneurs and additional entity types, excluding financial organisations. The current address is e-register.moj.am. According to the homepage, the linked old portal contains information only as of 25 December 2025. [2] [1]
Names and abbreviations explained

- The registry requires this identification for online applications. Public search is accessible without signing in. [3] [4] [7]
- TIN / ՀՎՀՀTaxpayer Identification Number
- Tax identifier. The company profile also contains a registration number and a separate unique identifier. [7] [3]
- Beneficial ownership declarationDeclaration identifying beneficial owners
- The declaration identifies the individuals who control the company and the basis of their control. A company profile may link to several dated versions. [7]
Search step by step
From free search to the right document
Open current company search
Select “Company search” and enter the company name. Use its official name in Armenian script where possible. Compare the registration identifiers to select the correct company. [1] [7]
Check identity and status
Open the matching result. The free view displays registration number and date, TIN, unique identifier, address and a status statement. A name match alone is insufficient for identification. [7]
Read published ownership declarations
Expand the ownership declaration list and choose the relevant dated version. You can read and print published declarations without an account. “Download in JSON format” provides structured data. Use the separate document service for a certified extract. [7]
Choose extract or status certificate
“Company information request” provides the detailed extract. Its service card lists Armenian citizens, YesEm and a fee of 3,000. The national services catalogue confirms AMD as the currency for the registry extract. For registration or liquidation confirmation, choose the separate free service, which expressly lists foreign persons and legal entities too. [3] [4] [6]
Track the application and delivery
Open “Apply online”, authenticate through YesEm and provide the requested information. The portal tracks status under “Applications” and sends notifications to the supplied email address. If you cannot use digital identification, clarify the alternative route with stateregister@moj.am or the registry office before preparing a power of attorney or paper order. [5] [3] [4]

What the extract contains
The description lists full name, registration, TIN, address, contact information, status, founders or participants, management and legal succession. The three-page official specimen also shows capital, a participant table and change history. The English service description additionally lists charters as separate documents, while the Armenian version describes the extract. Confirm any required charter expressly as a separate document. Interface language is distinct from document language
You can use navigation in Armenian, English or Russian. Registry information and the official PDF specimens are in Armenian. If you need to submit a document in another country, ask the recipient whether a translation or authentication is required. [1] [7] [8] [9]
What foreign users can obtain online
Public search and published ownership declarations are available without an account or proof of citizenship. The service description limits applications for the detailed online extract to Armenian citizens. The separate status certificate is also offered to foreign individuals and legal entities. Both ordering services require YesEm login. [7] [3] [4]
In-person application and paper access
Hartak describes applying at a regional service office with an application, passport or ID, payment receipt and a power of attorney when represented. Its requirements refer to management, the individual entrepreneur, legal entity or an authorised representative. [6]
Fees and processing times by service
The detailed online extract lists 3,000 and immediate processing; Hartak identifies the registry extract fee as AMD 3,000. For the in-person route, Hartak describes up to five working days or a paid same-working-day option. The separate free status certificate lists three days. These fees and timings must not be combined into one universal tariff. [3] [6] [4]
Electronic original and limits of the information
The extract specimen states that the document is issued exclusively electronically. It identifies verify.e-gov.am for verification and retrieval of the original using its control number or QR code. The registry FAQ also states that submitted information is presumed reliable but its accuracy is not checked by the agency itself. Registry content should therefore be distinguished from independently corroborated company information. [8] [5]

Avoid common mistakes
- Use the new portal for current data. The homepage dates the explicitly linked old portal’s information to 25 December 2025. [1]
- The FAQ limits participant data maintained in the unified register to LLCs. Do not infer a complete shareholder list for every joint-stock company. [5]
- Hartak’s “in person only” wording concerns the service described there. The current registry portal separately provides its online application route. [6] [3]
