Search step by step
Identify the correct company
Enter a search key
Open Cégkeresés. Search by at least four initial characters of the company name, the Cégjegyzékszám in dd-dd-dddddd format, or an Adószám with eight or eleven digits. The registered-office fields include postcode, municipality, street and house number. [11]
Distinguish research from certification
Match the name, registered office and company number. Free information does not replace an ordered certified extract. A CAPTCHA may appear before the results. [1] [4] [11]
Order an official extract from abroad
Choose the document and format
In sections E1/E2 of the form, specify the company, document and language. Select Közokirat for a public instrument or Nem közokirat for an uncertified information document. Section G specifies paper collection, postal delivery or email delivery. [7]
Pay and submit the application
Obtain the Treasury payment reference for the transfer and attach payment evidence. Email applications require at least an advanced electronic signature; a scanned handwritten signature is insufficient. The form also permits paper applications by post. [6] [7]
Preserve the electronic original
The service states that it sends the requested information within 15 days of receiving the application. An electronic public instrument carries a qualified signature and timestamp. Its official electronic status does not transfer to an ordinary printout. [6]

Companies and information covered
Covered forms include Kft. (korlátolt felelősségű társaság, limited liability company) and Zrt. (zártkörűen működő részvénytársaság, privately held joint-stock company). The current procedural documentation also lists Bt. (betéti társaság, limited partnership), Kkt. (közkereseti társaság, general partnership), individual firms and certain professional firms. [2] [1]
Register information includes the company name, registered office, branches, activities, capital, tax number and authorised representatives. Member information depends on the legal form. Read liquidation, insolvency and deleted entries in the context of the document’s date and scope. [1] [3]
Fees and payment from abroad
The document prices below apply to direct orders from Cégszolgálat, using the November 2025 form and published fee page. For the listed register extracts, electronic and paper delivery carry the same document fee. These official cost-reimbursement fees contain no VAT. [7] [6]
The service expressly applies the same information-request procedure to foreign and domestic customers. International bank transfers are accepted; the amount credited in forints is decisive. A paper postal application provides an alternative to an electronically signed email application. [5] [7]
Request beneficial ownership information separately
TTNY is separate from the company register. Third parties first request prior approval from the Minister for National Economy. The application must identify the purpose, organisations and legitimate interest, with supporting evidence. After approval, registration for Nyilvános Lekérdezések uses a name, email address and password. [9]
An approved query costs HUF 1,500 per organisation, payable by card. NAV delivers the information to the registered email address. Organisations are selected by name; this procedure does not offer a reverse search for all organisations beneficially owned by an individual. [9]
Contractual access for regular research
Contractual OCCR access can be used online worldwide. The published technical terms dated 1 September 2025 specify a HUF 14,000 monthly fee before tax, creditable against traffic, and HUF 30 per kilobyte before tax. Charges payable to the Ministry are additional. These figures are not an all-inclusive price per extract. [10]
The tariff annex caps a query at 200 kB. Annual accounts and Cégirat documents are billed at a flat 20 kB per query. [10]
