Contents of the state register

Points 118–121 cover registered, re-registered and terminated legal entities, branches and representative offices. Fields include names, legal form, registration dates and numbers, INN, office and management. Founder information, certain capital and ownership data, and beneficial-owner details are also held. This describes the statutory data holdings, not necessarily all fields visible in a public online result. [2]

Public information and protected ownership details

Point 122 makes register information generally open. Point 123 subjects disclosure of capital and ownership-share information to personal-information protection law. The regulation also provides automated transfer of beneficial-owner details to financial intelligence. [2]

The digital registration certificate uses a different route

Point 26 provides for a digital certificate on registration. At the applicant’s request, it is sent to the email address or messenger specified in the application. For a later extract about another company, arrange delivery separately with the registry. [2]

Do not use incorporation fees or times for extracts

Point 123 sets the time limits for extracts and point 29 those for archive copies. Point 124 requires a fee for urgent information. State institutions receive registry information free of charge. Private applicants should confirm the price of their information request before ordering. [2]

Avoid common mistakes

  • The register includes terminated organisations. [2]

Frequently asked questions

Can an outside person request an extract?

Point 123 refers to interested persons, and point 122 makes the register generally public. These provisions do not specify digital identity checks or the overseas application process. Capital and ownership-share information is additionally subject to privacy rules. [2]
