Search step by step
From public search to official evidence
Search the Open Data registry
Open the public search and enter the registered name or registration number. Matching options are equals, starts with, contains and ends with. Use the original Mongolian spelling for names. A CAPTCHA check may be required. [1] [2]
Check the separate status lists
Alongside the general search, separate lists cover dissolved legal entities and entities removed from the register. Choose the list for the status you need. [1]
Select the required reference
Open the linked e-Business service for the detailed reference. The registry also lists separate references about registration, dissolution, name changes, founders, shareholders and address. Choose the document that answers your specific question. [3] [5]
Apply with appropriate authority
The e-Business dialog offers organisation access through the app or DAN. For in-person references and file copies, the official FAQ names shareholders or authorised representatives. Other applicants on that route need a power of attorney. [3] [4]
Documents and fees
| Document / information | Contents and purpose | Fee | How to get it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Detailed legal-entity reference [3] | Official detailed legal-entity reference; the current service page gives no exact field list. | Current e-Business service free | Sign in through the app with organisation authority or through DAN.

Current online price and separate paper fees
The current e-Business detailed-reference entry states free and immediate. The search result gives 6 August 2026 as its update date. The older official FAQ lists MNT 5,000 for an in-person registry reference and MNT 500 per page for file copies. Do not apply the older in-person fee to the currently free online service. Confirm paper charges with the office before payment. [3] [4]
Access from abroad
The public search form uses a CAPTCHA. e-Business offers an English interface. Official company references use a separate account with authority to act for the organisation. [1] [3] [6]
In-person references and file copies
The official FAQ names registration offices in the 21 provinces, seven capital districts and integrated service centres. Submit a written request identifying the reference or copy you need. The FAQ requires a power of attorney for representation and describes access without a territorial-jurisdiction restriction. It does not specify international postal delivery. [4]
Electronic issue and document language
The registration authority offers the detailed record through its electronic service. For ordering enquiries, contact the authority on 18001890. [3] [6]
