Choose the right register

French Polynesia has its own Infogreffe service since January 2026. The French RNE excludes the territory, so do not rely solely on the national French service. The local RCS and statistical RTE serve different purposes. [1] [8] [6]

Which documents are available?

The requisition lists Kbis, registration history, articles and company acts, and annual accounts. It also offers certificates concerning insolvency proceedings and non-registration in the RCS. Page 2 separately covers security interests and liens. [5]

RTE notice language and evidential limits

The notice uses French fields for the enterprise, activity, legal form, address, workforce size and establishment. ISPF offers a printable PDF version and recommends Adobe Acrobat Reader. Issue is free. The notice expressly states that it carries no legal evidential value. [6] [7]

Avoid common mistakes

  • An RTE notice is not a Kbis. Likewise, the provisional RDCE confirms receipt of a formation filing and does not replace a Kbis, according to the registry FAQ. [7] [4]

Is an English document available?

The RTE certificate and ordering documents are in French. If you need a translation, ask the recipient which form they accept. [7] [5]
