- The company profile is available as a Thai PDF or an English summary. Select “TH” or “EN” at the top before exporting. For directors and authority to bind the company, also consult the Thai version. The financial summary can be exported as an English Excel file. Missing English personal details must first be added by the company. [3] [4] [6] [8] [12] [14] [13]

Search step by step
Find a company and its financial data for free
Open DataWarehouse+
Select Thai or English. Search using the registered name or registration number. The official guide also describes industry searches by business code or activity description. [2] [10]
Select a suggestion or show the results
Search suggestions appear after you enter at least three characters. Select an appropriate suggestion or show all results. The Thai interface calls this option “ดูผลการค้นหาทั้งหมด”. [2]
Identify the correct company
Compare the registration number and company name. The result table also shows entity type and status. Province, activity and registered capital help distinguish similar names. [2]
Open the profile and financial year
Open the company profile, then the financial information for balance sheets and profit and loss statements. Record the financial year before comparing figures. Company and financial data can be exported as PDF or Excel files. [1] [2]
Order an English registration certificate
Sign into the separate certificate portal
Open English Business Registration Certificate and select Request a certificate. The service requires a personal DBD account or a corporate account. Apply for membership opens registration. [6] [9] [4]
Select the company and scope
Search by company name or registration number and add the result to the application. Choose whether to include registered business objectives, then select the number of copies. [4]
Check for missing English details
An outside applicant cannot complete the request if English director or partner names are incomplete. The company must supply them through its own corporate account. A Thai certificate provides an alternative route to the registered particulars. [4] [3]
Choose delivery and review the amount
Select electronic delivery or post. The portal advertises a starting price of THB 1,160. Review the specific selection before paying. The manual describes credit card, Thai QR payment and a pay-in slip. [4] [6]
Save the file immediately and verify it
For electronic delivery, the download becomes available after approval. The manual allows only one download. Save the original file immediately and use its reference number in the public verification service. [4] [7]
Obtain Thai documents through a bank
Identify the company and document
Specify the company and the required filing. The bank service covers registration certificates and certified copies of registry documents, financial statements and shareholder lists. [3]
Confirm a participating bank and collection
DBD describes applications through its website or a participating bank. Consult its current list of bank locations before arranging collection. This route ends with the bank providing the document. [3]
Add the official fee and bank charge
The ordinary certificate costs THB 200 in registry fees plus THB 150 in bank charges. Certified copies cost THB 50 per page, with an additional bank charge based on the number of pages. [3]
Collect the document and receipt
After payment, DBD sends the document to the bank. The bank prints the document and receipt for the applicant. The QR code and reference number support verification. [3]

Entities and the appropriate service
The free database covers legal entities registered with DBD. The document services distinguish registered partnerships, private limited companies and public limited companies. Use the entity type shown in the result when selecting documents. [2] [3]
Foreign businesses operating in Thailand have separate information and document categories. DataWarehouse’s foreign business section provides information on relevant permissions. This complements the company registration check. [1] [3]
Company profiles and financial information
The company profile identifies the registered entity and its status. It also covers registration date and address. Registered capital, objectives, directors and authorised representatives provide further context. [10]
Financial views include balance sheets and profit and loss statements. Ratios and comparisons across years support analysis. The database also shows changes in names and capital, together with investment information by nationality. [1] [2]
Access from abroad and accounts
The public DataWarehouse search does not require prior registration. Select English and use the registration number if you do not have the Thai spelling. Ordering an English certificate requires a DBD account. [10] [9]
Electronic delivery in the English certificate service avoids bank collection. Its payment guide lists credit cards and Thai payment methods. Successful ordering also depends on the required English registered details being available. [4] [6]
Shareholder lists and beneficial owners
BoJ.5 is a private company’s shareholder list filed with DBD. Directors must submit a list at least annually, within 14 days after the annual general meeting. It records shareholders at the meeting date or at the date of extraction from the company’s own register. [5]
A certified BoJ.5 certifies the copy of the filed list. DBD acceptance does not create or confirm shareholder rights. The company maintains its own shareholder register and issues share certificates. [5]
When identifying individuals behind an ownership chain, a corporate shareholder is a starting point for further research. If BoJ.5 names another company as an immediate shareholder, follow that company in its own register. [5]
Financial statements and their reporting period
Start with the free financial views. Order a certified copy when you need a particular filed financial statement. This separates analysis of financial figures from evidence of the underlying filing. [1] [3]
Financial figures relate to a completed reporting period. For accounts ending 31 December 2025, the Ministry of Commerce specified 2 June 2026 as the submission deadline through DBD e-Filing. Today’s search date does not make an older financial year current. [11]
Conditions for an English certificate
An English certificate can include or exclude registered business objectives. The manual gives an approval period of three working days when objectives are included. Without objectives, it describes electronic download by the next working day. [4]
If the English company name is missing, the company must first reserve one. If English director or partner names are incomplete, only that company’s corporate account can update the details through the described procedure. A personal account or another company’s account cannot do this. [4]
Check a certificate supplied to you
Use the public reference-number check for an English certificate. The portal also offers PDF digital-signature verification. Keep the original electronic file for this purpose; a screenshot does not preserve its digital signature. [4] [6] [7]

Avoid common mistakes
- A BoJ.5 may be older than the current company profile. Use its own date when attributing a shareholding. [5]
- Bank charges are additional to registry fees. For example, a six-page certified copy costs THB 300 in registry fees and THB 120 in bank charges, totalling THB 420. [3]
- English menus do not mean every Thai company can immediately obtain an English certificate. The company itself must supply missing English names. [4]
- Only download the English certificate when you can save it safely. The manual says the button disappears after the single download. [4]
Frequently asked questions
Can I check a Thai company for free?
Yes. DataWarehouse+ provides a public search without prior registration. You can view registered particulars and available financial data. Official certificates and certified copies are separate paid products. [1] [3] [10]
How much does a Thai company extract cost?
For the ordinary certificate through a participating bank, DBD lists THB 200 in registry fees plus THB 150 in bank charges, totalling THB 350. Certified document copies are charged by page. The separate English certificate portal advertises a starting price of THB 1,160. [3] [6]
Can I order an English certificate for any company?
The required English registered details must be available. Outside applicants cannot supply missing English director or partner names themselves. The company needs its own DBD corporate account to update them. [4]
Does the shareholder list prove actual ownership?
BoJ.5 reproduces the filed shareholder list as of a particular date. DBD expressly states that accepting the list does not confirm shareholder rights. Follow corporate shareholders separately to identify individuals behind an ownership chain. [5]
