Choose the right register
The public results table shows EIN, INN, full name, registration date and status. Registration and active status do not amount to a complete shareholder or ownership check. [1]
The law distinguishes registry contents from the columns visible in the public search. The officially supplied text lists founders, management, capital and branches among registry particulars. Confidential identity and residential information does not thereby become unrestricted public data. [4]

Obtain search results and formal registry information
Choose the search mode
Open the Russian register view. Select EIN, INN or Наименование (name) in the selector. Enter the appropriate number or name and click Поиск (Search). [2] [1]
Confirm the match
Compare both identifiers and the full name. Check additional results pages. Действующий denotes the active status displayed by the register. Record the access date alongside the result. [1]
Request a registry extract in writing
Send a written request to the competent registering tax office, identifying EIN, INN, full name and the registry particulars required. Article 9 of the Tax Committee’s published text provides for information within one working day of receipt. Establish the accepted submission route and output format before relying on remote delivery. [4] [5]

The former extract fee is superseded
The older Tax Committee PDF still states a fee of two calculation units. The newer text published by the national legislation centre includes the amendment of 2 January 2020 in Article 6(2): registry extracts and negative certificates are supplied free of charge. Private representative or translation costs are separate. [4] [5]
Separate public research from the taxpayer account
The electronic-services portal lists the open register separately from the taxpayer account, new registrations and electronic-document validation. [3] [1]
