Choose the right register

For third-party companies, the official route is the Ministry of Justice register portal or an enquiry to a registrar or administrative service centre. The familiar Diia page Витяг з ЄДР has a narrower purpose: it generates an extract from your own individual entrepreneur record. Do not use that service as instructions for retrieving any other company. [1] [2]

Names and abbreviations explained

EDR / ЄДРUnified State Register: Register of legal entities, individual entrepreneurs and public formations. [1]
FOP / ФОПIndividual entrepreneur: An individual with registered business activity, rather than a corporate entity. The described Diia extract concerns the user’s own FOP entry. [2]

Search step by step

Research a third-party company

Prepare the registry code
Obtain the target company’s EDRPOU code where possible. The official guide instructs users to choose Юридична особа for legal entities in the free register service and search using that code. [3]
Check electronic access
The register operator specifies a qualified or advanced electronic signature for identification in free searches and electronic extract requests. [4]
Compare the basic record
Check the name, legal form, address, register code and status. The official guide also describes extract information on management, activities, founders, capital and beneficial owners. Do not treat missing fields as a complete negative finding. [3]
Order an extract when evidence is needed
The justice authority states that the free on-screen view is not an official extract. Use the paid extract route or request a paper document from a registrar, CNAP or notary when such evidence is required. [3] [1]

Paper extracts for foreign applicants

The national service description expressly includes foreign and stateless applicants. A national, diplomatic or service passport, or a corresponding identity document, may establish identity. A representative generally provides the original or a notarised copy of the authority document unless that authority is already recorded in EDR. The application and evidence of payment are also required. [1]

Distinguish charges by request route

The current Diia page lists UAH 125 for an extract concerning the user’s own FOP entry. The general service catalogue defines the paper charge as 5% of the statutory subsistence minimum for able-bodied persons on 1 January of the request year, rounded to the nearest UAH 10. It lists the electronic charge as 75% of the paper fee. Confirm the amount for the specific request before payment. [2] [1]

How the own-FOP extract works in Diia

Sign in to the citizen account and verify your personal data and FOP record. The extract is produced within minutes after payment and becomes available to download under Отримані документи, meaning Received Documents. If you recently applied for registration, amendment or closure, wait for successful processing first; otherwise the extract may not yet reflect that event. [2]

Delivery form and processing time

Paper extracts are provided within 24 hours of receipt, excluding weekends and public holidays. Collect them personally or through a legal representative. Electronic extracts are provided in real time. [1]

Check general guidance against the specific service

A February 2026 justice guide describes Diia access more broadly than the current individual service. For this route, follow the more specific service description: its extract uses the user’s own FOP data. Distinguish a research-request extract from the automatically generated confirmation of your own registration event. An access code for a registration result is not a general search account for third-party companies. [1]
