Choose the right register

GUFE stands for Guichet Unique de Formalités des Entreprises. The government’s I-Compete project describes it as a public body handling incorporation, changes and closure. Located at the Chamber of Commerce, it acts as an interface to issuing authorities. It is therefore a useful starting point, but not equivalent to a freely searchable company database. [2] [3]

Under the OHADA framework, the RCCM covers traders, commercial companies and branches, as well as certain security interests. It is maintained by the competent court registry or a designated body. [4]
