Choose the right register

GNI stands for Guichet Numérique de l’Investissement. It is part of ANPI-Gabon’s investment promotion services. Alongside company formation, it contains a public company announcements section. Start there when researching another company, rather than submitting a formation application. [4] [1]

Download a published company record

Open “Journal officiel”
Open “Journal officiel – Publications officielles”. Use FR or EN at the top to select the interface language. Select name search when you know the company name or ANPI number. The portal also offers a date-range search. [1]
Filter by name and legal form
Enter the name or ANPI number in the corresponding field. Selecting name search also enables the legal-form filter. Click “Soumettre” or “Submit”. Results may span several pages. [1]
Check the result against the PDF announcement
The result card gives the ANPI identifier and further company details, including legal form, capital and date. Select “Voir” to open the notice as a PDF. It also provides the RCCM number and representation details. Compare both identifiers to identify the company. [1] [5]

What the PDF contains

A formation notice gives the publication date and details of the new company. These include its name, legal form, capital and RCCM number, with representation and activity details. It records the formation. Later changes need to be considered separately. [5]

The formation guide describes a different route: after the application is processed, applicants receive SMS and email notification. Their FUE and generated corporate documents are then available in their own GNI account. [2]
