Choose the right register
CVR means Det Centrale Virksomhedsregister, the Central Business Register. The authority explicitly confirms Denmark and Greenland coverage. Company information is assembled from several underlying registers. Greenland companies are subject to adapted Greenland legislation; sharing a portal does not make their company rules identical to Denmark’s. [1] [2]

Search step by step
Find a Greenland company and its original documents
Enter the name or CVR number
Open CVR and choose English or Kalaallisut if useful. Search using the company name or known CVR number. [3]
Check location and entity type
Compare name, CVR number, address, legal form and status. A Greenland company and its Danish registration can have different numbers. P-enheder are production units; choose the company record for company documents. [3]
Save the profile as PDF
Open “Gem som PDF” or “Save as PDF”. Select all data or only expanded sections. The website offers language-specific exports; filed documents are separate files. [3]
Open accounts for the right period
Expand Regnskaber or Financial statements. Compare period, publication date and format. A newer report may be offered only as iXBRL and XBRL while an older one also has a PDF. [3]

Order lead times and physical confirmation
Standard orders are normally processed within ten working days, plus postal transit where applicable. Express orders placed before 13:00 on working days are normally processed the same day; later orders normally by 12:00 the next working day. Express adds DKK 450 per order. Physical remote-archive retrieval is excluded. [4]
Copy authentication and its language scope
For copies not already authenticated, such as articles or incorporation documents, authentication can be requested after ordering through the official contact form using the order number. The help offers Danish or English for that authentication. This does not mean the whole document is translated. [4]

Why do the available fields differ between businesses?
CVR combines data from different registers and legal rules. The operator explains that personally owned businesses, for example, do not register objects or signing rules or file annual reports in the same way as limited companies. Check the legal form and available documents. [1]
