Search step by step
Find a company and save its extract
Open Company Search
Enter the name or known registration number under “Company Name or Identifier” and select Search. A separate search covers current and previous officers, shareholders and members. [2] [1]
Identify the correct result
Match name and number, registered office, incorporation date, company type and status. Results also include companies marked Struck Off. Open the relevant company name. [2]
Request the PDF
Select “Request Extract or Certificate”, then “Business Extract” and “View as PDF”. Set the date and time under “Generate as at”, then select “Submit” to download the PDF. [2] [3]
Request certification separately if required
Tell the Registrar explicitly if the receiving organisation requires a certified copy. Section 92 distinguishes inspection, copies and certification under seal. The portal gives +266 2231 0893, Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30. [4] [1]

Contents of the extract
The Business Extract contains general company details and earlier status information. Further sections cover activities, addresses, officers, shareholders and share allocations. Annual accounts are a separate document. The extract states the date and time to which it relates. [3]
