Choose the right register
The public search displays different record types, including Business, Company and Association. A result is not a full IBC certificate. For companies under the IBC Act 2016, the FSA specifies a separate route: send the company name or number to enquiries@fsaseychelles.sc. It then provides the procedure and applicable fees. [2] [3]

Choose the appropriate search route
Use the public basic search
Open “Search Business” and enter the company name. The free English results table shows Reg. No., Name, Industry and Entity Type. No sign-in is required. Record the number and entity type. [2] [1]
Ask the FSA about an IBC
Email the exact name or company number to enquiries@fsaseychelles.sc. Specify whether you require a Certificate of Official Search or Certificate of Good Standing. The FSA FAQ gives this route for company enquiries. [3] [4]
Confirm document, price and delivery
The publicly supplied FSA guide dated 16 July 2025 lists US$25 for each certificate. Before ordering, confirm the payable total, payment method, issue format, language and any international delivery. [4] [3]

Contents of the Certificate of Official Search
The certificate lists the company name and number, previous names, incorporation or continuation date, any conversion date, registered office, registered agent, annual-fee due date, company status and numbers of outstanding and satisfied/discharged registered charges. The guide’s field list does not include a general list of shareholders or beneficial owners. [4]
When to request a Good Standing certificate
FSA describes a sealed certificate for a registered company whose fees and penalties are paid. It also includes statements concerning specified merger, arrangement or winding-up filings. If the company is not in good standing, the guide provides for a Certificate of Official Search instead, without an additional fee. [4]
Directors, ownership and annual accounts
Under section 24.9, disclosure of the directors’ register follows specific routes, including a court order or authorisation by the registered agent or a director. Section 26.2 describes annual financial statements as optional filings. [4]

Must I be a Seychelles citizen to obtain an IBC certificate?
